HEYHEY SO I JUST FINISHED TADC EPISODE 7 HOLY PEAK ANYWAYS I HAVE TWO THEROIES SO UHH HERE WE GO Theory 1: Based off of his facial expression and stuttering and seeming reluctance to answer when Zooble asked if he had anyone waiting for him on the other side, it's sort of obvious he doesn't. Later in the episode when we see the flashbacks of what seems to be a car driving down a dark road, I think his he and his parents/family got into a car accident and might have been the only living survivor. Whenever Jax gets upset, he tends to distance himself or hide away, like how he stayed away from the others whenever their all at the beach and whenever he goes back to his room after Zooble talks to him. I think to try and deal with this grief, he ran away somewhere, ending up in the C&A office, where he put on the headset and ended up in the circusCould also somewhat explain why he's so distressed now. Now that he's pushed away Pomni, he truly has no one else. The rest of the cast now hate him(besides Pom-Pom), Ribbit and Kaufmo have abstracted, and his family is dead, if I'm right. That's why he chose to stay. Because even if he doesn't have anyone here, he still has some company even if they all hate him. He has no one in the real world, and if they escape they'll all surely leave him behind and then he'll really be all alone. The circus may be horrible, but reality is worse for Jax. Theory 2: second theory for episode 7, but the stuff that Abel said about the pods might actually be true. Person below theorized he was a human but Caine was controlling him, which I heavily agree with because the way he's so....well, human, throws me off. Caine's adventures are always simple and non-complex, like the beach or candy kingdom episode, so him having suddenly make a very detailed and thought out adventure feels...off. Caine has already confirmed he CAN control and manipulate their minds, so it is entirely possible. I know he said he'd been "cooking this adventure up for a while now" but I think the info Abel said might have been actually true. It seems out of character for Caine to go into such a lore heavy plot adventure while we've been sticking with simplistic ones this entire show. cough that's all lol
