I only discovered this recently, but human trafficking is still a pressing issue nobody talks about. My grandmother told me about a story, when she went to Paris alone in the middle of the night, a man approached her and said he was an officer wanting to talk to her. She started walking with him before two more men showed up and arrested the man. He was trying to traffic her, if they succeeded, me and my mother would never have been born, my grandmother would have died young, etc. Homeless people all over America are disappearing on mass. If you talk to a homeless person, they will tell you they watch people vanish and get kidnapped, they fear for their lives; but because of their economic status, nobody protects them. Millions of Americans are being enslaved and we do nothing. It's not like they're being treated nice. Slavery mostly takes place in Africa; White, Black, Asian, Native, Republican, Democrat, etc. There is no discrimination. They are forced to either pleasure warlords or work in terrible conditions for no pay. They are starved, whipped, etc. There have been some stories where the Marines risk their lives to save Americans, but these are rare instances. Nobody cares. Homelessness can be eradicated with enough work, but people have to care. #SaveAmericans #FightSlavery
