Okay guys I gotta come clean I’m secretly a hamburger/j No but seriously though For the past couple years, I’ve been making scratch projects and stuff and trying to entertain you guys by drawing things for you all. Really, I was drawing for me, which is why I loved to do it so much, and that’s how it should be!! However… My school has blocked scratch on the website. I can’t get in, I can’t access my account, or anything. It’s a pain to use it anywhere else, honestly. Not to mention, the scratch scene as a whole has been a bit of an issue as of recently so there’s that whole mess I promised you guys a drawing I know, but I don’t know if I can anymore.. I’ve been running into a bit of an art block where drawing ANYTHING even slightly appealing to me goes unfinished or never created. Also, I’m starting to get old -distant back cracking noises as I try to stand up-, and this site is starting to feel restricting for the things I want to post and the things that will attract my kind of audience. Scratch is for all ages, which is nice, but it’s for ALL. ages. Meaning little kids not in their double digits could stumble across content not meant for them (no offense to yall, you’re okay in my book) like I know mine probably is. I want a space to create things and post them into the world knowing whoever is looking at them can handle some of the topics I like to dive into. This is why you guys have only seen two of my characters, Raymond and Averi, and no mention of anything else. The rest have backstories that would send scratch after my projects. To post my art and the stuff I write or doodle up and build an audience of people who can interact with my stuff and enjoy what they’re interacting with. I can’t do that here, really. Not anymore. This isn’t goodbye. This is… see you later. The minute I find a platform to build that audience, that space I’m yearning for, I’ll come back one more time and tell you guys. For now, minimal projects. Probably none. I’ll check in and reply to comments, but I don’t know about actual like.. art pieces or whatever. - Kellytheoneweirdo
