I randomly got an AU idea for Realms & Shadows. The story would start the same, but when Zarek starts getting dragged into the Duskmire, Zahyr isn't there to save him, and Zarek isn't immune to the Corruption. So he ends up becoming a Duskwraith. But somehow, someway, he regains control of his body (and somehow uncorrupts his soul). He regained control of his body, but at the price of having the appearance and abilities of a Duskwraith (including being able to Corrupt things). After Veythar confronts him and guides him on what he should do, Zarek has to explore the world of Tenoria, all while hiding his appearance from the world. I'd actually be interested in doing this, but definitely not right now, considering there's only 13 chapters so far. Once I finish book 1 or something like that, then MAYBE I'd consider writing this. It'd also be called The Shadowalker or something similar. Let me know what you think.
