------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONTROLS ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Player 1: W-Jump A-Move Left S-Attack D-Move Right 1-Switch to Sword 2-Switch to Bow 3-Switch to Golden Apple Player 2: Up Arrow-Jump Left Arrow-Move Left Down Arrow-Attack Right Arrow-Move Right 8-Switch to Sword 9-Switch to Bow 0-Switch to Golden Apple ------------------------------------------------------------------------- STATS ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Health Bar - Visible. See yours and the enemy's health bars whenever you want. Changes throughout the game. You start with ten. If you or your opponent gets to zero, the other one of you wins. Gravity - Not visible. Gravity is for when you are not touching the ground and are in the air. It allows you to fall back to the ground. Movement - Not visible. Just tracks whether you move left or right. Very important for the code. Invincibility - Not visible. When you attack your opponent or your opponent attack you, you or they, depending on who attacked who, will gain a shield for 1 second. This is to stop spamming unfairness. The shield blocks all attacks. Once the shield is gone, you can start attacking again. Item - Not visible. Tracks the item the player is holding. Used for when the player is knocked back. X position - Not visible. The x coordinate of a player. Y position - Not visible. The y coordinate of a player. Shooting - Not visible. Bow broadcast message. Really important. Apples - Visible. Holds the job of announcing the number of apples each player has. Arrow Direction - Not visible. Also, just for arrows. This is really useful. Distance To Edge - Controls knockback distances. Not visible and not really that important. Just used to fix a bug. Shield - Prevents spam hits. Not visible. In game - Checks whether you're in-game or not. Keybinds Variables - I may have made more variables about this than needed, but they are to prevent bugs. Player Variables - You will see what these do in later versions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- WEAPON USAGE ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The reason I said to look at the instruction is because there are more instructions which you probably want to read as you play for the first time. Firstly, the sword. This is simple enough. You go to the enemy player and click your attack button. This will deal 1 heart of damage and knockback. Next is the bow and arrow. It takes 0.6 seconds to fully load. It shoots an arrow which causes 1 heart of damage. Finally, the golden apple. This one is slightly weird. You have to use the attack button to eat it. Once you eat it, your health bar will turn back to 10. However, you only have 8, so make it count! -------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------- MY STORY ------------------------------------------------------------------------- One day, I was playing PvP in Minecraft with my friend, when I thought, "Why don't I create one but with stickmen and in scratch?" And it was perfect timing too, because we had a school project coming up. So, I decided to create it. It was hard, but my friends supported me throughout the way. And I finished it. Now I'm sure there are bugs (I'm a kid, don't blame me!), but this is still my finished project. You might think of creating a remix, or another project off of this idea, and I just want to say ... I totally allow it! I would love for a remix of this rough draft! And I would love to play it too! There are certainly lots of bugs in my game, so go ahead! I'm not really a good coder... nor do people say that my projects are good... but you can if you want to! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, this project was original, all created by me, but I do have to admit I did base it off Minecraft logic. It's still very much different, but I still owe it to Minecraft for the idea! And also shoutout to JohnHelldiver and crazyboi1492. And even you hiehylian. Thanks for playing! Hope you enjoy! #Stickman #PvP -------------------------------------------------------------------------
