When did their sweet, innocent, gentle class rep become so savage? Nino looked at Marinette, who was rudely sitting in HIS seat. "U-Uh D-Dudette th-that's my-" Marinette glared at him. "I have a name, and it ain't 'dUdEtTe', you follow, DJ Sidekick?" Nino looked hurt. "What do you mean DJ Sidekick!" Marinette scoffed and rolled her eyes. "I mean you just blindly follow whatever Alya does. You all practically worship Lila. I swear one of these days, Alya will forget all about you. Lila this, Lila that... They'll be announcing their engagement any day now!!" Nino and Alya gaped at her. "What? Enjoying the view?" She asked snarkily. Alya coughed and looked away, as did Nino. Adrien smiled. He was glad she was standing up for herself for once. Plus, it was so entertaining to see her classmates in shock about the roasting queen they had created. Lila walked in. "Hey everyon-" she chirped, but stopped short at the sight of Marinette. For a split second, she looked beyond annoyed, then said in a sickly sweet voice, "Oh, Marinette, you're back! I missed you so much!" Marinette rolled her eyes. Lila gasped dramatically. "Marinette, w-why are you being so mean to me! I-I thought we were friends!!" She said, tears pooling her eyes. The class rushed over to help her. "How are you all so wrapped around her finger?" Marinette asked. The class looked at her in shock. "Huh?" They all asked in unison. "I only rolled my eyes at her and now she's CRYING. Overkill much? Some people have ACTUAL problems. Seriously, you would all know. Mylene, you're afraid of literally everything. Nino, you're basically bald so you hide it with that giant red hat that you shouldn't even be allowed to wear inside the classroom. Chloe, you are the best example of “uTtErLy RiDiCuLoUs" I have ever seen. Max, you think napkins can gouge people's eyes out and yet you call yourself smart. Kim, you don't have two brain cells to rub together." She continued, insulting everyone in the class, save for Adrien, at least once. When she finished, she completed her point by saying. "And yet, you all comfort Lila just because she can't handle an eye roll?!" The whole class was in shock, some tearing up at the hurtful words. Alya fired up. "And what about your problems, Marinette? Right, that's what I thought. You don't have any. You have it all. You live in a bakery, you have a boyfriend who loves you, and you have loving parents!!" Marinette growled. "Not anymore." She hissed, tears in her eyes. Adrien rubbed soothing circles on her back. Alya laughed derisively. "Aww, did daddy get mad at baby Mawinette?" She cackled. Marinette shook in anger. "Does daddy not wuv baby Mawi anymowe? Aww how sad. Even your own dad is disappointed in you-" Marinette attacked her, grabbing Alya by the collar and pinning her to the wall. Her blue eyes looked red in her rage. "I'M GOING TO DESTROY YOU!!!!" Marinette screamed, tightening her hands around Alya's throat. Alya couldn't breathe. Nino tried to make her let go, but her grip was strong. Alya was turning blue. "What the heck, Marinette?!" She rasped out. Marinette seethed. "My. Dad. Is. DEAD. Don't you DARE even say his name in front of me EVER AGAIN. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!?!" She roared. Alya nodded whimpering. Marinette threw her to the floor. Alya rubbed her throat and Nino kneeled down to her, comforting her. "Marinette, stop this! I know you're jealous I know Ladybug but-" Lila was interrupted as the akuma alert went off. Marinette was shaking in rage. "Tikki, SPOTS ON!" And the girl was blanketed in a red with black spotted costume. The class gasped, and Lila paled. "Why..." Marinette hissed, "would I be jealous of you for knowing MYSELF. You are most certainly NOT my best friend!!" The whole class turned on Lila. "What?" Alya asked in a deadly voice. Well, either her voice was deadly, or it was hoarse from Marinette grabbing it. Lila was frozen in shock. “Y-You stole Ladybug’s miraculous!!” She made up an excuse, dramatically pointing at Marinette. The class turned on her. Adrien hissed, cat-like in rage, surprising the class. “Plagg. Claws. Out!” As the green light turned him into Chat Noir, the whole class had mouths wide enough to catch an akuma. “I can PERSONALLY testify on Marinette’s behalf that she is indeed the REAL Ladybug.” He seethed. Lila paled once more, loss of anything, lies or other, to say. The whole class turned on her, this time with no excuse that could convince them otherwise. As Ivan and Kim grabbed Lila's arms, taking her to the principals office by force, she screamed, "I WILL RUIN YOU, MARINETTE DUPAIN-CHENG!!!!" And then she was gone. The whole class turned to look at their former friends, now Ladybug and Chat Noir. "Marinette, I am sooo-" Alya started, but Ladybug stopped her. Scroll to credits for the rest!
Continuing~ Marinette, or rather Ladybug, took a shaky breath. "I wanted to forgive you, you know." Alya looked shocked. She opened her mouth to say something, but Ladybug started to speak again so she stopped. "I was going to. Even after you hurt me. Even after you turned on me. Even after you... you broke my heart even more than it already was." Ladybug choked on a sob, and Chat Noir pulled her closer to him. This comforted her enough to continue, so she did, stronger. "All the memories... the favors... the sleepovers... the secrets we shared... all for it not to be worth a bunch of lies and broken promises?" Her eyes filled with tears. Alya was already crying silently. "But even after all that, I still wanted to forgive you. But what you said about my dad... that's unforgivable... despicable!" She yelled. Alya shrank back, crying harder. "Lila was never Ladybug's best friend. YOU were." Ladybug spat with finality, then she turned to the class. Alya was positively howling in misery. "I will tell you who might have a chance at my forgiveness." The class perked up anxiously, hoping against hope that she might just choose them. "Nino... Rose... Alix... Juleka... Mylene... Ivan... and Nathaniel." Each one of them looked at her, tears in their eyes, grateful for her forgiveness. The rest of the class looked frustrated and sad. "Why not me!?" Kim and Max exclaimed at the exact same time. Ladybug turned to them coldly. "Kim, you KNOW what you did to me." Kim looked down, ashamed of what he had done to her in 8th grade. "Max, you, who I used to consider the smartest person in the class, thought a napkin could gouge your eye out." Max looked slightly haughty. "It made sense at the time!-" Ladybug snarled at him, cutting him off. "You. Literally. Wear. Glasses." She put frost into each word, then stopped, waiting for his realization. Max looked at her for a long second, then turned red, realizing he might have just been proven as the class dummy. Even those who had believed Lila rolled their eyes at him. Alya was sobbing, Nino rubbing her back in comfort. Ladybug continued, addressing the few that had a chance for redemption. "But this doesn't mean you are forgiven. It means that you have a chance at regaining my friendship and, to some extent, my trust. Understood?" The people who had been deemed worthy of a potential second chance nodded, sadly. "Now if you excuse us, we have an akuma to fight." Both Ladybug and Chat Noir jumped out the window, leaving a silent class to their thoughts. Hope you are enjoying the story so far! I might post more often this week and next week since I'm on winter break. Also, big news, Miraculous fans!! Disney+ has released 5 of the new season 6 episodes, which include Mister Agreste, Sleeping Syren, Dark Castle, Wreckless Driver, and Yaksi Gozen. 2 of these episodes are in my personal top ten best miraculous episodes ever; Sleeping Syren, which, although has a lot of Kimdine (dump him Ondine! He doesn't deserve you!) and a lot of proving just how little brain cells Kim has, has one of the cutest Adrienette moments at the end in the show. Also the end card was spectacular, with all of the couples looking soooo cute togetherrr! And Yaksi Gozen also had Adrienette, Plaggikki hanging out secretly while Adrien was at Marinette's house (lol), and the episode made me a HUGE Feligami shipper! Besides the love square, Feligami is my favorite ship! The episode also convinced any doubters that Felix really has changed, and is not pretending. So what happens is, Felix comes to Paris and he and Kagami ask to put their rings, which hold their amoks, in Ladybugs yo-yo. She looks down and says something like, "I used to keep the miraculous in my yo-yo but that didn't stop Monarch from taking them from me..." and Felix looks down too, looking genuinely guilty and sad and says, "that wasn't your fault..." so I'm convinced that he has become a good person. We have yet to see Grendiaper, Noe, and Vampigami on Disney+, but that's okay, we'll see them soon. Bye everyone! Hope you enjoyed part 2, part 3 will come out within this week, possibly today!
