There's a lot to credit to give in this, but all will be listed in the credits when I decide to eventually decide to finish the rest of it... Hosted by: @ScratchRunning TLDR: It is not the finest entry, but I wanted to try my best. I had to listen to several podcasts to grab audio and improvised everything along the way. I originally was trying to build up to an ace attorney reference, but I unfortunately was too ambitious with my entry and didn't finish the full entry in time, and it's TBD if I'll finish this in the future, unless enough people ask me to finish it, idk. I could not lock in... __________________Long Yap__________________ So, one thing to note, the thumbnail is slightly traced from the ace attorney box art, mainly Apfellord's hand and a bit of Keiron because I'm bad with hands and spacing and wanted to save time. Everything else I had to follow references made by the scratcher guests on other profiles; Some of the backgrounds I basically had to reference by closely matching the shape and lighting of said background, and piecing it together like a puzzle. Now whether or not this is considered tracing, I genuinely don't know, I could've drawn over it in bitmap, but then that likely would be tracing...? If anything, I won't claim that the background are anything spectacular, I just needed it to work for the scene. This animatic is not based around a single clip but multiple clips that I had to slice together from different podcasts as I needed certain words said by the crew in order for it to make a smidgen of sense. I also might've done some Sentence mixing (Sentence mixing is when you take someone saying a certain syllable and try to mix it with another syllable in a different part of the audio to try and form another word...someone will understand.) I wanted to just to see how obscure I could make something, and for it to somehow make sense. I really couldn't tell you where this idea came from, the moment it happened was the day it was announced and I was just shuffling through the clips and thought to myself: "Yeah I can maybe make this work, It's not gonna be perfect but like, it'll be funny." I was also half sleep deprived when I thought this so that also probably contributed. Will this win anything? Probably not since I believe there are way better entries than mine, and also because mine is unfinished. Will it stand out? I hope so, I always try to make something a little unique. It was also called "The Trial episode" before I shared it, but well, I never got to the trial part, so uh...yep ________________End Of Long Yap______________ And with that, I hope you've enjoyed this silly project. Whether or not It was an improvement from last year I don't know, it's up to you.
