You’re alive.” Momo: “Do I know you?” Polaris: “Yes- I’m Polaris.” Momo: “I don’t know who you are.” Polaris: “Momo-” Momo: “Leave me alone.” Polaris: “Please, don’t you remember the ship? You used to be a sailor.” Momo: “So what? That blasted storm tore us apart. We all went on our separate paths. None of them ever want to go back to the ocean again- especially after he died.” Polaris: “Who’s he?” Momo: “Kade.” Polaris: “Oh.” EXPLAINATION: !! must watch all previous animatics for context Once Polaris reaches the shores, he sees Momo and approaches her. He's delighted that she is alive, as he has been under the belief that the ship sunk during the storm and everyone onboard drowned, however the feeling is not mutual. Momo is hostile towards Polaris and doesn't recognise him, before revealing that the rest of the crew and the ship survived the storm, and that only Kade drowned during the storm. Hence, the crew split up and went on their separate paths, as everyone but Momo now hates the ocean. Kade, is Polaris's name when he was alive, though Polaris doesn't recognise this name. This is mostly an animatic containing lore and context, I'm not very happy with the way it was animated but I really wanted to share this lore :')
