══════════════════════════════════ Hello everyone! Due to the presence of outdated art in various studios throughout TFCRP, a widespread thumbnail contest is now being held for anyone to join! There will be various prizes, several of which catering to certain aspects of specific groups. Being eligible for a group-specific prize is dependent on whether you made art for a studio within said group! More prizes are subject to eventually being added due to the sheer amount of thumbnails needed. ══════════════════════════════════ ✎ᝰ. Guidelines: • The contest will close approximately when February begins, but this time frame is subject to change based on whether every studio gets at least one applicant. Late submissions will not be accepted. • Any usage of AI art and/or plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and doing so will warrant a warning and immediate disqualification from the contest. • Refrain from gloating about yourself or degrading people whether you win or lose the contest. • Due to the amount of thumbnails needed and the current shortage of prizes, there will be only a prize for first place winners that cannot be traded with anyone. Special characteristics can be applied to a single existing or future TFCRP character. • You can enter several studios, but can win a prize (one of your choice) only for single studio. • The recommended size for studio thumbnails is 300x195 pixels or a 1.54:1 aspect ratio. • Please submit your application through a project remix and specify which studio(s) you're applying for. • Respect is expected towards the judges of the competition and fellow roleplayers. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to the council of wisdom or to a member of the admin team. • Entries for the Twolegplace studio should include the mascot for kittypets, Gouda, whose reference can be found within this project. If you've already posted an entry for Twolegplace without him, your submission can be used for the allegiances studio instead. ══════════════════════════════════ ✎ᝰ. ══════════════════════════════════ ✎ᝰ. Group-specific prizes: • ThunderClan: – Permanent static: A constant tingle of static lines the pelt, causing it to look unnaturally frizzy. Prolonged exposure can result in minor electric stings. – Energy burst: After a cooldown period, a burst of lightning energy is capable of being produced to enhance speed and strength for a short period of time. Eyes are unnaturally bright yellow, but appear dull during a cooldown stage. – Stormkin: A keen ability to sense when a storm is coming and how powerful it will be. During thunderstorms, energy and athleticism are heightened. – Lightning talons: Electricity can briefly be channeled into the claws to assist with tasks like hunting. Claws are bright yellow during this state. • RiverClan: – Angler lure: A bioluminescent lure sits on the head, able to dimly light up nearby surroundings, but it isn't very helpful for stealth. – Tentacular tail: Instead of a furry tail, this appendage mimics that of an octopus or squid. Little suction cups can be found the base, allowing it to grab small items. – Bubble blower: By blowing bubbles underwater, fish will become unnaturally placated. Instead of swimming away, they'll playfully engage. – Walrus tusks: Two extremely long fangs protrude from the mouth, akin to that of a walrus. They can be helpful in combat. • WindClan: – Bunny-like ears: Large, perky (or floppy) ears akin to WindClan's common prey. They're excellent for cooling and allow for superior hearing. – Wildflowers: Naturally growing wildflowers line the pelt, wilting and blossoming with the seasons. – Enhanced senses: Similar to the animals who live in the meadows, aspects of nature (knowing poisonous flora and fauna, being able to identify useful herbs, etc.) can be detected better. – Botanist: The ability to make a small plant grow by touching it. Must be a pre-existing plant or seed—rapidly speeds growth rather than conjuring out of nothing. • ShadowClan: – Shadowless: Though a shadow cannot be cast at any point, all fur appears to glitter beneath sunlight. – Phantom hands: Long tendrils of wispy fur take the shape of twoleg paws that seem to have a mind of their own. They cannot actually grasp or hurt anything. – Hidden wraith: When in hiding, one will appear as a wraith-like creature, seemingly a living shadow with only eyes being visible. – Galaxy eyes: Eyes seem to mimic the night sky with glittering stars and auroras in the irises. Pupils are reminiscent of the moon. • SkyClan: – Cloud walker: All four paws never quite touch the ground due to fluffy clouds cushioning each step. Their steps make little to no noise. – Griffin: The front paws are hairless elbow down, taking on a scaly appearance instead. They have long talons, rather than normal claws. – Camouflage: Leaves and types of foliage line the pelt, making one appear to be one with the surrounding nature. – Harpy: Colorful feathers ruffle within the fur, encouraging small birds to joyously gravitate towards their mistaken kin. One may feel inclined to preen themselves. • Kittypets: – Twoleg whisperer: Perfectly able to understand twoleg speech, but unable to communicate back. – Prettied up: Ethical, pet-safe makeup is applied to the face. – Chinchilla: Fur feels as soft as a chinchilla's and never feels coarse or dirty. Can still be torn in a fight, but remains perfectly soft. – Special stash: A perfectly hidden stash of accessories that can be kept forever without concerns for damage or thievery. • Loners: – Amber veins: Amber sap seeps slowly from thin cracks in the skin instead of blood. – Graffiti markings: Bright, unnatural streaks across the fur resembling spray paint tags, unique to city territories. – Collector: A unique knack for discovering rare and one-of-a-kind treasures. Crows are naturally trusting and offer similar trinkets with no expectations in return. – Good luck: Little misfortune seems to occur in one's presence. Monsters unnaturally swerve out of sight, rain doesn't seep through shelter, predators swiftly retreat, and so on... ══════════════════════════════════ ✎ᝰ. General prizes: • Colorful paw print trail • Uniquely shaped pupils • Naturally colored (of choice) claws • Uniquely colored eyes (excluding purple, rose-gold, and metallic) • Antlers that change depending on the season (proportional to body size) • A one-time token to skip a nursery waitlist ══════════════════════════════════
