--------- A few days have passed since Goofball made that report, and it turns out his brother was truly missing; he had been gone from his job for nearly a week. “A- a wh..whole week and I- didn't notice?!” Goofball spoke, pacing the living room as his nails dug deeply into his palms. “Eesh. You're worse than a mistreated rabbit.” Hullabaloo grunted, rolling his eyes as he went to the kitchen. “Look- I think-” Cen started before getting cut off by Goofball, “shut- shut up with your pathetic excuses! Yo-you only make things worse!” Goofball snapped. Cen simply backed up, turning and going to the kitchen; tilting his head at Hullaballoo, “Your brother needs your comfort.” “He’s a big boy, I believe in him,” Hullabaloo spoke, shrugging off the seriousness of the situation. “You're the worst sibling I’ve encountered, jeez.” Cen grumbled as Hullaballoo spoke, “I'm serious, I'm not his therapist. He can go get one if he’s struggling that bad.” “He’s already doing therapy.” Cen pointed out “He needs more,” Hullaballoo said, drinking the water before dumping out the rest. Cen stared at him, not fully believing Hullaballoo was this bad of a brother, “Lame was way better than you, eesh,” he muttered. “Excuse me?” Hullabaloo spoke, turning to face Cen, who shrank down under Hullabaloo's gaze, “hehe..nothing.” “You said something. Don't play dumb.” Hullaballoo narrowed his eyes, placing his hand on Cen's shoulder. “If you say anything else behind my back about me, especially to that caged rat out there? I’ll make you regret it.” “You- you wouldn't do anything,” Cen spoke, though his voice came out quiet and weak “You know I would.” Cen backed up, looking away from Hullaballoo; he knew that Hullaballoo was serious. He knew Hullaballoo could hurt him or Goofball if he didn’t tread lightly.
