guhhh sorry it took so long lol DISCLAIMER that I do not draw chibi/cute style or know it very well, so a lot of this can be variable given what style you're going for. There are ofc a lot of artists that use messy lines, "bad" anatomy, etc on purpose. Chibi itself is a horrifying perversion of Proper Human Proportions (jk lol but also lowkey fr imagine seeing a chibi irl) Notes for slide 2 (1) The palm is very flat and the three bent fingers are the same length (also too short compared to thumb + pointer) (2) The legs are very tube-shaped & flexy, and don't have much variety in width throughout. The knee is very flat. Also, the back leg is unclear where the hip would be, that thigh looks too long compared to the front leg (3) The eyes are uneven and the right eyebrow is on top of the hair (both could be an intentional choice but I'm just going off basics here lol bear with me) (4) the sweater neck (and also the band-aid & and the hem of the shorts) are pretty flat--usually making them curve around the parts of the body help give them volume and perspective SKIN NOTES not sure what (if any) ethnicity she is, but for paler people usually the skin will have a more pale/orange tone (don't go TOO orange, i do that sometimes lol). Blush/redder areas tend to be where the skin is thinner or has more blood flow, like the cheeks, nose, lips, certain areas of the hands/joints sometimes (this is very different for darker people, it's really fascinating to learn how to shade skin lol highly recommend) *i still think i may have made her skin too cool/orangish here but i can't tell, my tablet monitor has a bit different color from this computer.......argh *additional note, I feel like her back/spine are curved the wrong way, she looks like she might have a killer backache after a few seconds lol. Reversing the curve might look better, but it depends on what angle/pose you were intending so i just left it alone :]
