Her entire thing is mercury manipulation, she can create things made out of mercury with a little swipe across her arm and boom! 50 mercury needles ready to poison you. Oh yeah. Only downsides? She's constantly freezing, her body temperature is way under what it should be and while she /should/ be used to it, shes not. She weighs way above what she looks due to the metals in her body and it does impact her speed at times (though she gets around it with just...idk gliding on some mercury like its ice or something man.) She also cant be around any dish soaps, detergent, strongly scented products, zinc, etc. but hey, at least she cant get mercury poisoning? ๑ She's almost like a..quarter human? well, duh. A large portion of her body is made out of mercury, not visible since it's beneath her skin but it's essentially what gives her the abilities she has (stated in previous slot) ๑ appearance: Silver has long black hair, going a little past her shoulders and kind of gelled around her face to create little swirls inward. Think kind of like Dee Vasquez from ace attorney. She has sharp eyes with a lot of eyelid space, often having some sort of dark brown-grey eyeshadow over it with a bit of white shimmer. She has one dark brown eye and one pale blue, almost grey eye. She's very cool toned skin, though a little tan. Her nose and cheeks are often flushed, giving her that constant cold look-- because she is, of course. Suit: A black body suit with a grey cover up feathering over the shoulders, acting as sleeves flowing back her fingertips with intricate swirl patterns. It can also act as a balaclava, sitting in the way a scarf would as one. Wears thick black boots often with mercury swirled around them and up her legs. Her nails are typically done by herself, that silvery mecury color, sharp and pointed just in case she needs them. ๑ Silver is-- a character. She can be harsh, overbearingly passive aggressive, rude, sharp, witty. It all depends but one thing remains the same throughout; she's very closed. She doesn't open up to anyone, not easily anyways. And not so far. She's very untrusting because she herself is sneaky. She plays with her food, toys with others, taunts, gets joy out of irritating other people. Which is bold, for someone who acts like they could die around dish soap. (adding more later probably)
๑ umm somethign something starter....when she was but a meer child she had always looked up to heroes, admired them. She wanted to be one of the greats. But she fell into the wrong crowd, found arrogant ones, sneaky ones, or even villains who pretended to be heroes. They crushed her, ruined her, tortured her relentlessly. She was a fresh daisy girl, ready to face the world no matter how cruel others might be-- until in her teenage years something in her snapped. No, literally. A snap. She was tortured for the fun of it, all the stress and weight those people felt were put into her-- someone so small and someone who looked up to them. Her nails were no longer. Torn off by a set of pliers. She had a psychotic break, she couldn't endure anything for much longer. Her nails are now often covered by her mercury, hiding her past vulnerability and hiding the rotting flesh under it--- they never really grew back the same. ๑ strengths: hello she can literally poison people?? can't get mercury poisoning lol, has a way of fast transportation with gliding on it, super quick witted, smart. Weaknesses: dish soap will probably make her cry like a baby and sting her really bad, same with laundry detergent or any cleaning supplies-- has an insane lack of zinc in her body because it will do the same, etc etc. Also really slow when moving normally without sliding on mercury. ๑ no relations yet but super open, would love to see something with like a sarcastic, aggressive duo dynamic. ๑ she was originally an mha oc from yearssss ago </3 also recently found out quicksilver is in fact a real character from xmen so i do feel the need to change it now gulp
