Hey everyone. Realistically, maybe one person is going to read this. @RoboRo21, if you’re reading this, thanks for looking at my stuff. You’re probably the only person who actually cares, and that means a lot. Anyways, I guess I just want to say that Scratch has been blocked at my school. I really don't know why. It shouldn't affect me a whole lot since I can still get on on my home computer and I never really used it that much at school anyway. I also have Christmas break coming up where I won't be at school for nearly three weeks. But it still hurts, and I'm upset about it. The main reason I even made a Scratch account in the first place was because I could get on it at school, where I did, and still do, spend a good chunk of my time. I suppose that's why losing Scratch hurts more than maybe it should. Something that I did for so long, I just can't access anymore. This blocking is also really stupid. I've been able to get on Scratch since I started high school, in August 2024. I used Scratch at school for over a year. I don't know why it took this long to block it. Something even more stupid, however, is the fact that when I try to get on Scratch and I get hit with that "Looks like this page isn't allowed" screen that makes me want to hit something, there's a section that basically says why the site has been blocked. For Scratch, it says "Category: Educational." Qué. Look inside this project if you wanna see for yourself. I mean, maybe I'm misremembering, but I could've sworn the ENTIRE PURPOSE of school was to LEARN, and one way to do that was through EDUCATIONAL websites! I guess maybe just the sight of that stupid gnome chewing on a cable fills me with an irrational rage, and I had to vent about it. Anyways, thanks for reading this. I was originally going to cancel Super Scratch's development entirely, but I realize I was just mad and that would have been dumb. Instead you get this pointless rant. You're welcome, I guess? As a reward for reading this far, I'll let you in on a secret: v2.1.2552.01, the first snapshot for Super Scratch v2.1, releases on Saturday, December 27. You might want to know that the little guy in the project is Ether, my protogen sona. I drew the art. I think it looks pretty good, at least for my skill level, which is basically zero. That's all for now. I'll see you all in 2026!
