tw: mentions of bl00d waveear did it. they outlived requiempaw. the gray she-cat watched as the dark furred apprentice’s body was dragged into the middle of the urchinclan camp, a large grin spreading on her muzzle. they laughed, crackly but genuine. how ironic. avery had always had a feeling that the younger cat had wanted ave gone. now look who was dead. look who’s pelt was matted with bl00d. look who took her final breath while waveear still stood, expecting kits no less! avery would be bringing life into urchinclan while requiempaw would be leaving it. waveear stood, stiffly walking over to her enemy’s body. cats that were mourning requiempaw moved out of the way as if they sensed something bad was coming. “see?” ave mewed, crouching down beside ri’s body, eyes glinting with malice. “i told you the world would move on without you.” with that, waveear stood up and flicked her tail, spreading sand onto requiempaw’s still form. “goodbye, requiempaw.” they hissed, then stalked off.
wow. that was insane. wasn’t on my bucket list today to see that ave’s worst enemy passed away. i had so much fun building lore with ri and am so thankful for the opportunities wave had to be a big meanie to her. rest in peace requiempaw.
