She developed depression at a young age due to her empathic powers (But she doesn't know that) and one day couldn't handle it and ran away. While living on the streets, Lee found a dying man and when he died, she screamed, like a literal banshee. she faints and in brought to the power school where she learns that she is a banshee able to sense other peoples emotion.
