★★★Welcome to my game, Pinpoint!★★★ Think you know Scratch? Test your knowledge of Scratch positions with this fun and engaging game! ★★★Instructions★★★ ➤ Try to click on the given position. ➤ Press space to submit ➤ It will tell you if you are spot on, pretty accurate, or way off! ➤ The distance is calculated by subtracting the correct x and y position, and the x and y position you guessed! ➤ Make sure you know the difference between X and Y! :P If you really know Scratch, you will get it correct! Because using Scratch a lot will make you remember the X and Y positions in the editor. (but it's really hard to get exact) ★★★Notes★★★ I worked really hard on this game! I think it deserves to place, it's super polished and the idea is unique! I really loved making this, and it turned out amazing! At first, it was very difficult to code. I worked backwards. I tried to use a text engine to show the numbers and the position you need to click on. That worked, for a while. But then, when it came to the actual guessing part, where you click on the position, I couldn't figure out how to make the engine know if you guessed right or not. That would use lists, etc. I really don't like lists. I don't know why, they just never work T-T. Anyways, I decided to use variables. Now, they may look ugly, but they work! Once I program the randomizing for the position text, I can use a number counter to make the variables, well, look better! All in all, I figured out how to work forwards, not backwards. Enjoyed this game? Consider dropping a heart, star, and even a follow! #games #all #pinpoint #fun #difficult #hanw_playZ
I just changed the project to use the distance formula so it would be more accurate.
