I got bored due to not being able to access my PC for the time. And I've decided to start animating on here again. The problem is that animating on here absolutely SUCKS in contrary to Flash which is 100x better than here. I know its very harsh for me to compare an application that is built for making animations for animators, in compare to this. but when I say it sucks. It truly sucks because of how annoying it is to animate on here and not want to just mentally shut down like if you were an introvert at a party and your social battery just decided to Kurt Cobain itself. It's the tedious task of animating 1 part of a character, then having back to go and then copy & paste, copy & paste, copy & paste, etc etc. It just sucks. The fact that you cant just drag and select the frames you want to delete and then re-animate them if you didn't like them is WAAAAYY better on Flash then it is on here. you have to go costume by costume, deleting what you didn't like, then do the copy & paste trinity, over and over and over, again and again and it just mentally draining. I say this, not with true malice, because I grew up on here, making my dumb animations when I was in middle school. And it taught me and helped my shape my animation style, and helped me creatively and shaped me into who I am today. But I do NOT miss animating on here, and I'd much rather animate on Flash, ANY day of the week. It's just so much better, and its oriented towards animators. It's just superior. Now I don't want to discourage any other animators who animate on here. It is truly amazing how you guys can power through the absolute HORRID "animation" support that scratch calls. And I commend you guys for that. It's just that Its so cumbersome to use and navigate without wanting to rip your fingers off and eat them. Don't take my word for saying "Scratch sucks because I grew up and have superior and more powerful apps to animate!!!1!1". That's not what I'm trying to say. What I'm trying to get at is that this site, does not support animators. its made for games and that's it, which is sad to say because their are MANY amazing and talented animator that are hindering themselves with this site that isn't truly meant for them. Unless they make and support animators by giving us something that looks like or functions like an animation application like Flash or Flipaclip. It's just not gonna cut it for animators and for these talented people. I would say its better to move and migrate to other apps that do support animators. But if your comfortable with animating on scratch, please by all means, continue with your work. Me ranting about how garbage this site is for animators should not be a base for you to just leave and use another animation platform. I'm just here saying what I need to say, maybe it's better if you did move to another animation platform. That's all from me. - J
