CHAPTER FIVE; The Website - 9/23/2024 Timestamp; After 'Recovery; Getting Along' We were getting along just fine. In fact, we even felt camaraderie (wtv that means,, im able to say it tho!!). It was kinda hard to adjust to our ‘new home’, so I just persuaded myself that this was all temporary. That all of this was just until our universe is fixed. That everything would be back to normal in a few weeks. But it didn’t. It was getting late again. While Kaletx and Kat were talking about the cyan stuff (which was really boring since they take SOOO long getting to the point), I decided to sneakily wander off. I walked around her house, which I was right, it was spacious. After a while, I crept into a dark room. I traversed the walls looking for the light switch, and obviously turned the light on when I found it. Much better. In the center of the room, like the exact middle, was a table and a chair. On the table was a computer, or something like it. I once saw Quan using one, but never have gotten the chance to actually try it out. I’ve always had the desire to use it and play games on it, just imagine how much more there can be! Following my desires, I ran up to the computer and opened it. On the screen, there was a tilted square with a square hole in it, like a cheez-it! A word appeared after, ‘Ro…’ Before I could finish reading, the screen suddenly got brighter and almost blinded me. All that I could see was that white light for now, hoping it would pass. I didn’t know what was happening, but it hurt. It rang in my… uh, ears I guess (if we even have them, but we can somehow hear anyways!). I closed my eyes, remembering that phrase I was told. ‘If you’re ever scared, just close your eyes. Pretend it’s not there, so it can pick on its own size.’ or something like that… I felt myself go numb, and fell asleep again.
