TW: Blood and possibly disturbing mental imagery Scroll to see the description of the species Xaraxoths are hybrids of a scorpion, hydra, and big cat from the deep pits of hell. They are 30 to 40 feet tall when they're fully grown, and they can shoot fire and acid out of the stinger. They hate all life, excluding those who also hate all life. It has the head that looks like a hybrid of a xenomorph and a dragon. They don't need sleep, but they do it to seem not as anomalous. They like eating people. Unfortunately, you will not see this absolute beast approach you despite it being 30 to 40 feet, because it has paws that adapt to the terrain so it's as silent as possible, and it has pretty good aim, so if you see this thing, pray to whatever god you worship, whenever it's christian, muslim, greek, doesn't matter, and run as fast as possible because there ain't no way you're "stunning" that. Not only is it silent, but it can also run 25 to 45 mph and fly 35 to 80 mph, so good luck with this thing. However, there is one way to tame this absolute beast. Once you feed a Xaraxoth blood candy, which is made from the blood of a humanoid creature that has been slain within an hour, it will be calm around not only the feeder, but also the feeder's party. It will also telepathically tell its friends to spare that party in particular. To make this type of candy, the feeder needs to roll a 13 or higher. They mainly reside in forests, and sometimes they go to Asia to destroy things. The most common day that they go to destroy things in Asia is October 13th. They can shapeshift into everyday objects, including money. They especially like to shapeshift into quarters and doubloons. Think of it like mimics from DnD, except 10 times more dangerous, and this thing can detect mimics and they will eat them. Xaraxoths come in slightly varied colors, such as dark purple, dark blue, and any dark cool color except for yellow-green (aka chartreuse). Their wing membranes can come in either dark blue, dark purple, or anything inbetween. dear god i've created an abomination when i described this thing when playing the DnD addon called "have you heard about the beast", oh boy, did i end up scaring some people in my DnD club
