Regarding the episode: IT WAS ABSOLUTE CINEMA. All of the lore drops especially the ones about the guardians had me at the edge of my seat and I loved seeing familiar faces like Aspen and Vixia return. However 3 years for 14 minutes... It was a L O N G wait and even though the episode was SUPER AMAZING, it was still a bit disappointing to only get that much after waiting so long. I understand that Star broke her hand and all, but if the episode had come out a year sooner it probably would have hit even harder than it did. Hopefully future episode's won't take as long to make given Star is better and going full time. That aside, everything else was absolutely impeccable. Regarding connections to the SEEU: I feel like Star draws inspiration from her fandom, especially me, Yuko, and Gen. During the episode I noticed several similarities to our fan work. First off, the laser bars and general interior of the "Malice Copter Z" were almost identical to my depiction in Churning Gears. Second, when Maliceon turns purple he looks a lot like Overlord Genesis, and third the guardian or grass looks a LOT like Yuko and Rye. I'm not saying that all of these aren't coincidences, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Lastly, the electric type city kind of breaks the whole Cyvision future timeline because if the kingdom already has skyscrapers and all that everything falls apart. That might mean it would have to be separated from the SEEU. There is also the fact that Genesis killed powerful legendary Pokémon at some point which could have been the guardians.
