space/click the screen to proceed feel free 2 disagree or discuss! please read what i put below if ur confused >> edit: i just realised the best way to summarise this is the rule "show don't tell". ii breaks it completely, which ends up creating writing that feels so forced. heavy topics that adults are mostly faced with get shoved in the audience's face like a child. ii gets a character and forces the audience to be attached to them by going "hi im (insert character) i have problems now feel bad for me!" like they explicitly say it and then treat it like character development. in comparision, bfdia doesn't have this problem because character development is shown, not explicitly said out loud. this is what makes ii's writing feel forced and stupid. you develop a character by putting them in situations and have them grow from those situations. you DON’T develop a character by forcing them to talk about their problems.
song: who can it be now- the talking heads (lowquality) inanimate insanity this is gonna age extremely well if it turns out fan is just dead lol edit: why did this get somewhat popular
