C: - currently, i’m rewatching stranger things and i’m very excited for the rest of season five! - my favorite snacks are salt n’ vinegar chips and seaweed. (not together LOL) - i have two cats and a yorkie C: Why are you interested in being a moderator? ˖ ࣪⊹ before i begin the bulk of this section, i’d like to start off by saying that i’m really happy volunteering for the admin team as a kittypet admin helper !! it was a tough decision to even consider applying, but i thought i might as well throw my hat into the ring. to officially begin, i would like to be a moderator to help ensure the safety of everyone the community. as a member of the admin team and a longtime roleplayer on scratch, i know how much of a priority safety is ! especially in online spaces. i’m using safety to mean multiple things! - first of all, it can refer to protection from scams and potentially harmful technology. - it can also mean safeguards from inappropriate and or explicit content, language, and behaviors. - and the final definition i’ll be using is safety from cyber bullying, harassment, and the like. with those definitions in mind, safety would be my first concern as moderator. it’s very important to me that all members of the community feel comfortable as well as safe! i’d like to help ensure that. on a lighter note, i’d also just like to volunteer more of my time to the community! doing work in tfc is super fulfilling for me and i’d like to do more of it. additionally, moderating interests me in general. i’d love the opportunity to develop my communication + leadership skills while helping out! How often do you check out projects and read people's roleplay chains? ˖ ࣪⊹ i look at projects quite frequently! it might appear like i don’t, as i don’t heart/like projects often. and to be totally honest, i don’t read as many roleplay chains as i would like. back when i was more involved in plots, i would read them all the time. i’m trying to get back into that habit :) How long have you been in TFCRP? ˖ ࣪⊹ i started applying for litters in the fall of 2022 and won my first character that december ! i consider myself to have unofficially joined around september of 2022 C: Have you had any past experiences that might influence our decision to choose you? This includes confrontations, warnings, suspensions, etc. ˖ ࣪⊹ i don’t believe so! Why would you be a good pick for the moderator position? What qualities make you a good candidate? ˖ ࣪⊹ admittedly, i always struggle with questions like these. i think i can make deliberate decisions in the “heat of the moment” ! so many situations need fast reactions and responses, and i think i’m the type to think rationally but also quickly. on a similar note, i also think i’m not the easiest to get a rise out of. usually, i’m pretty good at not getting provoked, or for lack of better words, “rage-baited”. finally, i always try to understand where others are coming from. advocating for everyone is super important! a lot of the time, moderators have to consider all sides and i think i’m capable of doing that. activity rating (with an explanation) ˖ ࣪⊹ as much as i would like to give myself a perfect ten out of ten, i think an eight is more accurate and realistic. i always spend most of my time online doing something tfc related! i would actually say eight out of ten times i am, haha. despite that, school is incredibly important to me and i’ll always prioritize my studies over online responsibilities. i’ll always devote most of free time to tfc, the question is really how much free time i’ll have. if i had to put money on it, i would say that i typically have a lot of free time!
