An interesting Clock. Each digit is formed by light shining through the empty squares on the bars that are moved up and down. You can see all bars move at once in the second after 09:59:59 or 12:59:59

Each digit is formed by light shining through the empty squares on the bars that are moved up and down. Note that the clock frame has a black square above and below the middle of each digit position. No digits use these positions and by including them in the frame, the bars can be shorter.
