Listen what the customer wants to order, use the pencil and note to take notes, the customer speaks fast, so you can use a strategy waiters or waitresses do when taking notes for people's orders, and they write fast and we call it 'writing notes'. One way to write notes is to use abbreviations instead of whole words. Example, basketball becomes BB, hot dog becomes HD, and Tennis becomes T. Just telling, if you make a single mistake when telling the customer's order, the customer would be upset and leave your restaurant, typos are deadly now. See in the top corner at the left?
