A soft, gentle silence hung in the air, unknowing of the souls that would soon arrive. As dragons curled up to sleep, a magical phenomenon appeared - making those who witnessed it, mystified; Dazzling, white streaks of light dashed across the sky like little balls of flamesilk thrown across the horizon. At the end of it was a pulsating, pearly white crystal that glowed intermittently like the heartbeat of a newborn dragonet.
