This isn't Scratch to blame. This is a YouTube rule, which I can mostly respect. And I only say mostly, because while I know that keeping rights to YOUR creations is important, it doesn't make sense to restrict it to only the YouTube service. That being said only videos with the standard YT license can't be uploaded, but videos with a Creative Commons license likely can. This also doesn't mean ST hasn't done some pretty bad things. Just straight up banning ShyGuy was a pretty bad move when the team could've just warned him or something, and there's still some corruption with people like griffpatch being able to bend the rules a bit.
