The thing is, hummingbirds are attracted to the color red, and titmice, chickadees, nuthatches, and downies are attracted to other birds. How to get those birds larger feeder birds at feeders? Well, try and attract the only feeder bird that isn't only attracted to other birds, hummingbirds! THAT was how I finally, after tons of failed attempts, got birds at my window feeder! 161: Goldfinch! I love this photo :D 162: Wild Turkey :O huge bird! 163: Female hummingbird! 164: Nuthatch! I filled the hopper that I normally fill with safflower with a mix of safflower, sunflower, and millet this time! This male nuthatch liked the sunflower seeds, but unfortunately it wasn't long before a squirrel came along and emptied it :( squirrels love sunflower... 165-167: Hummingbird on my window hummingbird feeder again :D 168-170: Female hummingbird on the window hummingbird feeder this time! There's also sunflower seeds on it from when I needed to keep the titmouse visiting my window. And it worked! I HAD to rely on that ONE titmouse in order to eventually, have all the birds I have visiting my window feeder today :D
