Grief is something that varies from person to person, shifts over time, and is expressed in various ways. A grieving father who lost his son, wondering why it came to this, is lost to the world. Missing in his duties, absent to his family, swallowed by his own sorrow that closes his mind and prevents him from moving forwards. Chronic grief doesn't go away as easy, it sticks like a burr to a cats fur, tangled and stuck, never letting go... and he can't pull it out. Moving on means forgetting the love he lost... his son...his darling enigma. Yet, he is blind to how his refusal affects others.
