WARNING! NOONE CAN START THE ART YET! THE COMPETITION HAS NOT BEGUN! This is a Interest Check for a Pibby art competition. 1. What This Is This is an art competition. The goal is to draw a Pibbified character (glitch/corruption style). 2. Who Can Join, and what do you join as? Anyone can join. And you can join as: a Contestant (you make art) a Judge (you help score art) There are 2 Judges Max You can also be a Reviewer if you wish. If you do. Your job is to make sure everyone follows the rules. You do not judge art or decide winners. If you notice a participant breaking the rules (copying too much, using AI, or stealing art), you gather the evidence and present it to the host. The host will then decide whether to issue a warning or remove the participant from the competition. Ways Reviewers Can Check for Cheating: Compare Art to References Look at the participant’s claimed references. Check if the art is mostly copied rather than recreated. Check for AI or Generated Art (Optional, since this is hard), Which is done like this: Look for uniform patterns, overly smooth areas, or repeated textures that don’t match hand-drawn styles. Ask the artist how they made it if suspicious. Look for Plagiarism This is mostly done by seeing if their art is too similar to someone else's art or contains parts that may be the same. Check for parts obviously taken from other people’s art online. Trace Overuse Allowed: tracing official reference images Not allowed: tracing another person’s finished art Compare details carefully. Ask for Work-in-Progress You can request a quick screenshot of their drawing in progress to see that they created it themselves. 3. What to Draw Draw one character that looks corrupted / glitched. The character must still be recognizable. One finished artwork per person. 4. Tracing & References Tracing is allowed. Using references is allowed. You must NOT: Copy-paste other people’s art Use big parts of other people’s artwork unchanged Most of the art must be made by you. 5. What Is NOT Allowed AI-generated art Stealing or reposting art Editing someone else’s finished artwork Submitting multiple versions 6. Time There is no hard deadline yet. Finishing faster may give small bonus points. Quality matters more than speed. 7. Judging (Simple Version) Art will be judged on: Creativity How “Pibby” it feels How clear the character is Effort and polish Overall vibe 8. Behavior Rules Be respectful. No trash-talking. No arguing with judges. Feedback happens after judging. 9. Important Notes Rules may be adjusted depending on how many people join. This is meant to be fun, not stressful. The judge’s final decision is final.
