Hi! This is a game where you explore Melaka by playing 3 fun minigames, which are: 1) Beca 2) River Cruise Race 3) Congkak 1st minigame: Beca In this game, you control your beca (the one in orange) using the WASD keys (W for up, A for left, S for down and D for right) to avoid other becas (in purple or blue), while also driving from a traditional Melaka house, to "Museum Kapal Selam", "Museum Samudera", "Kota A Famosa", and finally, "Stadthuys", which are all famous places in Melaka. 2nd minigame: River Cruise Race This is a 2-player minigame where you race with your friend to see who reaches the other side first. Control the Blue Cruise with the "A" button and the Red Cruise with the "L" button. Hold the button to increase speed, but also lose stamina. if you used up all your stamina you will slide back to the beginning. Spamming instead of holding might be better, if you are skilled... 3rd minigame: Congkak Congkak is a 2-player game that is strategic yet fun to play. The first player is in red while the other in blue. In a Congkak board, there are 7 small holes and 2 big holes. The small holes are called "Kampung" while the big ones are called "Rumah" in Malay. Fill the small holes with 7 marbles and leave the big ones before the game. Both players start simultaneously in the first turn. To start a turn, choose any small hole on your side and take all marbles in that hole. Moving clockwise, drop exactly one marble into each house you pass. Drop a marble into your own big hole when you pass it, but completely skip your opponent's one. If your last marble falls into any small hole that already has marble in it, scoop all of them up (including the one you just dropped) and continue your turn. If your last marble lands exactly in your big hole, you get a bonus turn. If your last marble lands into your opponent's empty small hole, your turn simply ends. If your last marble falls into your empty small hole, take your last marble plus all the marbles in the opponent’s small hole directly opposite yours. Put them all straight into your big hole. Your turn then ends. After the simultaneous first turn, players take turns alternating one by one whenever a player's turn ends. If you have no marbles left in any of your 7 small holes when it is your turn, you must pass. The game ends when all small holes on the board are completely empty. The player with the most marbles in their big house wins.
This project is for Scratch Malaysia 2026 competition. Name : Yusof Luqman Bin Ary Assazry Age : 12 Years Old From this project I learned more about Malaysia heritage especially Malacca, which is my hometown. I face some difficulty when debugging and designing the game and characters. To note especially for Congkak, I also learned about trigonometry application to get the correct Congkak Marble position. In addition, its exciting experience for me to create this whole game until finished and become fully functional. My family also help test the game and I'm happy to see my family enjoy playing the game, I hope you will like it as well.
