Kat- It/kit/pup Eclipse/Xeno- he/it/void they/any except she/her i made just a peaceful story thingy food//
Going foraging ! Kat stepped into the cramped living room of their apartment and dramatically spread its arms out. 'How do i look!" kit asked. "umm well that's the same black cloak and green overlay thingy you always wear..." said Eclipse, who was sitting on the couch with voids laptop open, probably reading fan-fiction again. "Well yeah but today i have this cool new bracelet!" it said pointing at its wrist where it wore a woven black leather bracelet. "Ohh yeah, that's cool it looks good on you." Eclipse was clearly amused by Kats affection for the small bracelet pup had found on the floor yesterday. "Anyway Kat,the cafe's not open today, because you know the giant refrigerator thingy the villains crushed some of the city with, and i'm pretty sure you said you were going to restock your herbs and stuff today. Can I come with you? I wanted to get some more Wood Sorrel for my teas." "Yeah of course! I love going to the forest with you!" "Yay ill get dressed, wait for me!" They had to take a detour around the giant refrigerator but finally they reached the forest. "Okay, I think i remember seeing some Wood Sorrel around here, give me a sec, ill find it." Kat said tilting its head back, kit seemed to be trying to smell where it was... "Oh right, dumb human nose, doesn't work..." Kat sighed, "Hold on." Kat started to shimmer slightly, kits clothes looked as though they were melting into its skin as it morphed into a much smaller shape. Eclipse would never really get used to seeing Kat shape-shift but then again Eclipse could fly and create fire from thin air, which Kat would probably also not get used to. They were both weirdos weren't they. Before Eclipse stood an Australian shepherd, and it goes without saying but the dog was Kat. "A dog named Kat, huh that's kinda funny." Eclipse thought, "Oh wait now i'm getting side tracked." "Come on Kat we need to find the herbs and stuff before lunch, i'm getting hungry." Kat the dog lead them to a small patch of plants with three heart shaped leaves on each stem and small white and pink flowers. "Oh yes perfect!" Eclipse said while gathering some of the roots, leaves and flowers in a woven basket it had bought. "Can we go find something to eat now?" Kats tail wagged as pup barked a reply and started trotting down to the edge of a beautiful blue creek. It looked perfect for swimming, perhaps they would after lunch. Kat stopped and sat beside a bush of wild-berries. Its long tongue pulled some of the sweet, purplish red berries of the stem and into its mouth, Kat glanced at Eclipse with a look that told him to go ahead and eat some too. The two had been friends for so long they didn't need words to communicate, which proved especially useful when Kat wasn't in a humanoid form and also when the pair were sneaking around vigilante-ing. "This was fun," said Eclipse, Kat replied with a yip. The pair stayed by the river all afternoon and with time passing so quickly, the stars started to shine as the sun slowly disappeared. Eclipse and Kat lay on the flower covered floor, looking up at the stars for hours more before having to return to the city. It was nice to take a break from everything and just be for a bit.
