Hey so its not finished but just wanted to post what I have so far!! <3 :D Fluttershy P.O.V. I woke up softly, birdsong filling the warm morning air. My ears rose up and I blinked a bit at the light orange dawn. Woodland critters scattered in and awoke me good morning, butterflies lifting up strands of my hair. “Good morning my little critters..” I yawned and stood up shakily, smiling. Angel tapped his foot to the ground and looked expectantly towards me. The butterflies flew away as I tucked my sheets in and looked down at him. Right, his breakfast. I looked out the big window above my bed for a few moments, in awe of the rising sun. Angel snapped me out of my thoughts and I trotted downstairs to prepare him a bowl of carrots. His eyes became little stars and he licked his lips as he saw the bowl. I giggled softly as he chowed down like he didn't just eat the day before. I went over to my hammock and began to brush my hair. Today I need to get Pinkie some honey from the bee’s, some banana’s from the market and…aren’t I forgetting something? Oh! Yes, she needed me to grab her a new whisk, her old one broke when her Pinkie sense™ told her a bee was on Applebloom, her baking apprentice. She tried shooing it away with her whisk aggressively but accidentally threw it to her wall out of fear when it landed on the batter. I giggled softly to myself again at the thought of that story, though the poor bee was obviously more afraid of Pinkie than she was of it, it just wanted something sweet. I hop out of my hammock and swing my bag atop my back. “I’ll be back sooner than you know guys…See ya.” I muttered to the critters inhabiting the nooks and crannies of my house. My pony friends always bunch themselves up around my animal friends, but I think they make my cottage a real home. The animals seemed especially excited today for some peculiar reason. I smile warmly and trot to the clump of trees near my house that have a couple bee-hives. I grab a little empty jug from my bag and fly up to the nest. “Hey little bees, I would like some honey for my dear friend Pinkie pie…do you think you could spare some?” I murmur into the opening of the nest. I was a bit worried that there would be some trouble but they buzzed on by me and agreed, saying it was no problem. I collected the grafts of honeycomb on top of a napkin and tied it into a makeshift package. As I landed down to the ground I accidentally grazed my back leg on a sharp branch. I winced a bit but shook my head, not letting it bother me. I trotted away from the woods and my cottage, waving goodbye to it. I heard less and less birdsong as I wandered the path into town, and more ponies chatting arose. I was never fond of this transition into town, where I realize I must talk with other ponies.
Though I was never truly bothered by talking with my friends. I avoided glances of ponies as I trotted, my wings fluttering jitteringly as I got a bit anxious. I kept my head low as I entered the market, looking around for the banana stall. I turned my ear one way, then the other, and then I heard a sales-mare projecting his deal to buy 1 banana and get two free ones. I smiled a tiny bit and turned to where I heard him. But suddenly, a crowd of ponies rushed past and I lost my balance. I shook my head to try to see more clearly and sighed. I trotted towards the stall and started digging in my bag for my coins. I got some out and accidentally dropped two of them. I started to sweat I got so nervous. “I-I’m really sorry mister I-” I could barely stutter out. I couldn’t pick up the coins because my hooves were getting sweaty. The sales-mare gave a slight smile. “It’s okay, take your time.” he said in a comforting tone. I felt eased out of a rush, took deeper breaths, and picked up my coins. I waved goodbye to the sales-mare and let out a quivering sigh. I'm such a screw up gosh… I squinted my eyes, trying to ignore the negative thought about myself as I trotted to the Supplies store. I seemed to forget about the banana stall occurrence as I looked at the silverware. When I had gotten all that I needed, I trotted over to Sugar cube corner. I popped my head in to see what Pinkie was doing. Her oven was left on pre-heat and she had some bowls and trays out. A little book with a check list was out, it was written in pink pen. Before I could bother to read it she was bounding into her bakery with a surprised gleam in her blue eyes. “FLUTTERSS!!” she projected, putting down a box of party supplies beside her. “Pinkie!” I muttered joyfully. She embraced me tightly and pulled away soon after. “How’ve you been you got the supplies oh how wonderful! I just wanted to chat with you about some things and you should be off soon..” she started to run her mouth and I tried to keep up, but I must’ve missed something when she looked back at me with a questioning smile. “Hm-? Oh-uh-yeah!” I agreed, hoping it would work with what she said to me. My ears lowered as she let out a giggle of delight. “So ya gonna grab the caramel blocks or what?” she teased. I shook my head and giggled too. “Yeah I will.” I put my stuff down and made myself feel welcome. Pinkie’s P.O.V Fluttershy waved a hoof back at me as she started to trot out of my bakery. I waved back with a warm smile but the moment she shut the door my hair sprang. I gritted my teeth and started to get really worried for a moment. She almost found out about her surprise party today!! I gotta be more careful, I was lucky enough to come over before she figured it out! I sigh and let my thoughts stop racing. I amble over back to my checklist of things I need to get done for her surprise party today. I'm kind of surprised that she didn’t remember it’s her own birthday..? Well I did the same once before!! I think to myself, humming and checking off supplies I already used for Fluttershy’s caramel cake and banana pudding. I recall that day. It was a funny sequence of events!!... My smile doesn't falter. Well I learned to not accuse my friends of things they obviously wouldn't do!! I trot over to my box of supplies, untangling the pink, green and yellow streamers. They were neat and new, I had used too many last year and decided to get less this time. To trade it out, I found some cute floating butterflies and cut out rabbits that will remind her of Angel! I bet she’ll really love this party and appreciate it!! I pause and stim joyfully at the thought of this, accidentally sending some streamers flying, two tangling around my hooves. “N-no wait!” I untangle the ones around my hooves and rush out to find the ones that tumbled out the front doorway. Mr. and Mrs. Cake were just outside the hall, the streamers hadn’t gotten far. I sigh out of relief a bit and bring them back over to me. This party is going to be so fun!! I think, resuming decorating.
