DUA SET!!

Dua Set y'all :D (in case you don't know Dua is a hieroglyphic that means praise!) I been learning to read hieroglyphs so Set's name up there is absolutely accurate i am sure from my limited knowledge XD So... Set if he was a cartoon character ig Took me about four hours spread across two days to draw; I really enjoyed making this—maybe I'll draw some of the other neter too! okay for those of y'all who don't know squat about egyptian myth, the wikipedia on Set isn't exactly kidfriendly(as i learned by mistake -_-) so: Set's the neter/netjer(god) of evil and travelers, and the temporary and illicit third pharaoh of the gods. Set got a bit jealous of his brother, Asar(Greek name Osiris), who was the pharaoh, so he tricked him into a sarcophagus and chucked him down a river, very reasonable-like and stuff. Asar's sister-wife(we don't question these things they're gods they do not care), Aset(Isis), managed to recover him, so Set sorta... split Asar up and Dragon Ball'd him all over Egypt like he'd just summoned Shenron. A fish ate Asar's [EAR](i shall not say what the common myths say yergh), so when Aset found him AGAIN and put him back together she had to make his EAR out of clay(or he's just missing an EAR for eternity), but once he was resurrected he had already somehow become king of the Duat, the underworld, while he was gone, so someone else had to be pharaoh, so miraculously Set stepped up!(Like he wasn't planning it in the first place!) But technically Heru Sa Aset(literally Heru son of Aset, Asar and Aset's kid; Greek name Horus the Younger) was next in line and Set kinda sucked as pharaoh(no offense) so they went and fought for eighty years until Heru won and became the rightful ruler of the gods. Of course that don't mean Set ain't cool tho; in some myths it's shown that Set and Heru were the ones who joined Upper and Lower Kemet(Egypt) together, and he's well-known as one of the gods who defends Ra from Ap/ep(Greek name Ap/oph/is; very bad snake who wants to eat the sun and end the world. Put slashes in his name like th/is so you don't accidentally invoke him, yikes) during his journey through the Duat at night, so he definitely ain't all bad. Set's married to Nebethet(Nephthys), and he's the (debatable) father of Anpu(Anubis). Oh and he loves lettuce. A few things that I probably made up but make sense to me: Set's hair is canonically blue but that's an ORDERLY color. Red's the color of Chaos so he dyes it :P Set's Anpu's biological dad but Anpu takes after Uncle Asar so much that he basically got adopted. Set DEFINITELY whispered in a few people's ears to get SMGs made because yes >:) If motorcycles existed in Ancient Egypt Set would be the first one on em XD Contrary to what you might think Set actually enjoys swimming, just not in running water(running water is bad for gods because it weakens their anchor in the physical realm). ya know what if anyone who sees this can think of sum other neter for me to draw lemme know idk who to draw nex
