The Brabant class air defence destroyer was first comissioned in the mid 1970s for the Royal Karsvetian Navy. However, most of the fleet has been largely decommissioned with the exception of 2 vessels being the Vlaanderen and the Schelde. The former now serving as a training ship and the latter as a Self Defence Test Ship. The remaining vessels have been stored in the RKN's reserve dock while the Karsvetian government being open to offers regarding the purchase of these aged vessels, with the addition of some modernisation upgrades.
