A complete filler post, but whatever. Also idk who some of these MechaGodzilla’s even ARE, so forgive my subpar ball-knowledge. I also use the term “mecha” an obscene amount of times, be warned (this was made at 2 AM!! I’m gonna have a stroke!!!) ————————————————————————— Best: I just love Kiryu and the Godzilla animated series so much, I have to glaze— Kiryu by far and away has the best lore of any MechaGodzilla in my opinion, and one of the best designs for a dude in a suit. The other mecha is mostly carried by nostalgia, but it IS also peak in design and story. Insert “I am Machine” somewhere in here *now.* Great: Monsterverse mecha is really good, don’t get me wrong, but he has AWFUL screen time, so that’s why he’s down in Great. The Godzilla Earth mecha is 100% just my own bias, but can you blame me? His full design is sick, and his whole power set would make him amazing if he wasn’t only a head (also, I don’t really have an opinion on Heisei mechas. He’s cool but lacks personality, and that holds him back). Good: The OG’s personalities are great; cold, ruthless, and they make themselves seem menacing, but their designs just aren’t it for me. The one with four arms is up here because… Well, his look is cool even if I don’t know him. And the last one is in Good because he didn’t get enough screen time (I can’t remember the name but I DO know him. He’s good enough). Meh: Singular Point was… Strange, and we barely got to see the mecha! And I just don’t have an opinion on the chibi little guy. Bad: The only ACTUAL bad design. Doesn’t help that I don’t know him. Worst: No Kaiju is truly bad. Everyone has their own opinions :)
