Wowie! I finally came back to this story!! Yippiee!! Tw: nothing really
FRIDAY: I was stalking a rabbit, somewhere deep in the forest, creeping and creeping... and then I leap forward and just as my paws are about to reach the rabbit- *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* Urghh... too soon... I reach and turn off my alarm, and contemplate these last few days. Yikes, so much has happened over just one school week. Let's hope me and Autumm can hang out this weekend though, she- I mean *They* could teach me quads and we could get snacks!! I drag myself out of bed and start picking my outfit, black longsleeve shirt and a white tee with a blue butterfly over top, and black jeans with big pockets. I grab my bag and stuff a new book into it along with my computer, and freeze. Dad never called me and Josh down for breakfast, did he? I tie my shoes and walk downstairs to look for him and hes sitting at the table, on his work laptop. "Hey dad, do you need me to handle breakfast today?" He looks up for just a moment before continuing his work. "No, I figured you and Josh could get food at school." He pauses to comprehend what he just said. "Do you have school today?" He asks, with a serious expression. Did he really forget? I reply "Uhm, yeah we do, its Friday. Dad, are you feeling alright?" He nods and continues working. That's the end of that conversation I guess. I walk back upstairs to check if I missed anything, and I hear Josh's door open and close. "Hey." "Hi Josh." "Have a good day at school." Oh, uh, thanks, you too." Am I tweaking or did Joshua, my brother, just talk to me? He usually keeps his distance and acts like a broody highschooler, (which he is) and he doesn't hate me or anything but he definitely doesn't hang out with me, so that whole interaction was really weird. But it made me happy too. I hear the bus and scramble down the stairs, just in time to catch it. The ride to school was boring and uneventful, until we reached Autumm's stop. I see them get on the bus and make a beeline for our spot. They sit down and give me a wave before glancing around nervously. "Hey Autumm! How are you?" They fidget and then sigh. "I can't even keep a secret for one bus ride" They mope for a moment before remembering what was going on. "OH!" They reach into their bag and brings out... a tail? Then they... hand it to me?? "Uhm wha-?" I sputter in confusion. "For you" they say with a cute little smile on their lips. I can feel myself turning red. "For me? Ohhmygosh thank you!! It's so pretty!!" I take a moment to admire the tail, a black one, with a white tip. Autumn grins and says "now we can match!! As long as you're comfortable public gearing at school, that is." "It would be fun... let's do it!!" They squeal and clasp my hands in excitement, and the bus pulls at school before They can see me blush again. We walk in together, unaware of whats going to happen in class. End of chapter 8!! I feel like this is a really long chapter so enjoy
