Hello! do you want to be my oc Jellybe@nsp@ce ? you can also be her! A fun project to celebrate 2 years on Scratch AND to have some fun with the new Scratch Face Sensing Extension :D - Have fun bopping to @griffpatch's song - The more you dance, the happier you will feel lol It's extra fun technically because it pulls out all the separate face parts you can detect and tries to use them like a tiny motion-capture rig to estimate Pitch, Roll & Yaw of the face (that is turning left & right, tilting up and down, and of course tilting left and right) The song was made in Suno AI - Yeah I know - AI lol - But don't fret, this project IS NOT about the song, or the lip sync although that is cool - It's about pushing the boundaries of what we can do with the new face sensing extension and head tracking!!! For those who want to know what the song is singing about, here are the lyrics: [Verse 1] It began with a click on a quiet screen, Just me… and my camera’s gleam. The world said, “Code something fun today!” But I chose to put a cat head on my face anyway. [Pre-Chorus] Now the pixels align like fate in disguise, My ears are coordinates — I can see it in my eyes. A silent whisper from the CPU: “You were never human… you were Scratch Cat too.” [Chorus] Lift your head, brave coder of light! The webcam watches through the night. Yaw, pitch, roll — this is your cue, A legend is born from a math-filled view! [Verse 2] I measure my width like a noble knight, Two ears apart, oh what a sight! The nose, my compass, true and proud, Leading my face through the digital crowd. [Bridge] Some say it’s silly — they just don’t see, The glory of trigonometry. For when I nod, the Cat nods too, Destiny written in coordinate view! [Final Chorus] Lift your head, brave coder of might! The Scratch Cat crown is shining bright. From mortal code to feline grace, I found myself… in a cartoon face! [Outro – spoken, serious whisper] “And on that day… the webcam blinked… and whispered…ARF!”
