I struggled a lot with the legs but overall i'm pretty happy with it I included a cool simplistic version, you also can see my attempt to put a heart within the like, blue thing more clearly 4 - 5 @My_Art_Studio Okay these two pieces were HORRIFYING. The first one I made and oh gosh you can tell it was night, I was sleepy, and just.. stressed. The background actually is pretty good but the focal point just... oh gosh. So i remade it which is number 5. I came back to the old one and was just baffled. I thought it didn't look like the character at all n decided "I am Not going to let this happen" and I made a new one. Aaand it turned out super well!!! I'm really glad to have a strong art piece startin off the year even if its making was very rough. At first the face looked too human, then too catlike, then just not fitting at all for the character, aaand I redrew it like 12 times before going back to look at my old art (as i had a cuter style back then that was more adapted for animal character)s and realizing that the problem was in the sketch itself. So i redid the sketch. And it WORKED. Finally got the expression after a few tries n all. Quick goal for myself: Stop being so sloppy with your art and all.. i feel like a big problem in my art is that i CAN do things I just don't want to and simply go "Well eh, its good enough" 6 Art style study-ish of a friend Bella (@catrecuersirl) Alright so I wanted to add in a twist and also draw Kira in my own style. Like, how she'd look like if i was tasked with designing her. I made her have multicolored hair/hair highlights cuz I realize a LOT of my ocs have multiple hair color, and changed up her colors a bit. I made her have some red in the eyes for contrast + a fire motif, the cloak is a little torn to give it a more firelike impression, and she has a small dagger concealled under it because I thought it looked cool. Gave her a bandana as well so that she can obscure her face, and her cloak has little doodles on it because it looked boring, and also to help her blend in with forests kinda?? Shrugs idk where i was going with this As for Flynn, I feel like the style study uhhh wasn't very successful this time around. I think it's the face + my lineart getting kinda bad again. I thiink the lighting is pretty accurate though, I just used a multiply layer + a soft light layer. I'm not rlly sure if this is how he'd ACTUALLY look in your art style lol. 7 - 9.. Cat leg tutorial because my friend wanted it i think 10. Here's the pinata guy..! The initial concept's legs looking sorta like leg warmers made me want to go with a rave kind of theme..? I really like this 11. The design except more rave themed. The color theory is atrocious and that's what I love about it. Feel free to change up either design or merge them or anything,!! 12 - 13. I saw an art piece I really very liked and wanted to play with lighting, so I made a sketch. And uhhh... I think I am going to be taking much longer on this than I expected... I am very proud of the current result but it is FAR from finished. The only finalized part I'd say is Azrael's face but even then I might go back in and rework him a little bit. This has been a very gruesome process so far but it's also a big art piece so obviously it's going to take a while. PLEASE, give this some critique before i go into the cleaning up. The entire process was very unorganized as this was supposed to be more stylized but uhhh it now looks like I am trying very hard to convince you I'm rembrandt And yes... I know the hands are terrifying, as is the background.
