WE NEED MORE FEMALE ANTAGONISTS IN FICTION literally every time i pick a book up off my shelf there's a male antagonist i mostly read middle grade, sometimes ya, fantasy/mystery but sometimes realistic fiction but why why why im sorry its just my crazy little insane brain cant handle this its one of the things i cant stop thinking about im sorry kotlc is the only book i know with female antagonists (wc doesnt really count bc most are male and i dont read that much wof im sorry) and i dont mean like fairy tale evil stepmothers those are soooo cliché i mean bad*** girls and women who don't hesitate to FIGHT for what they believe in....even if they have some seriously twisted beliefs i'm just going to use an example, lady gisela from kotlc she doesn't sit around doing nothing she strategizes she plans she waits and then she makes the most unanticipated move ever that drives the protagonist's actions antagonists DEFINE a book without them there IS no book so let's make them interesting and please note the lack of female antagonists *and also i'd say the same thing but a bit different abt female protagonists, but there are more than female antagonists so i dont need to make a rant abt that* thank you for listening to my completely insane ted talk written by my insane brain at 8 PM. goodbye. (also if you want more info on gisela there's a link to the wiki inside and i highly recommend kotlc it's really good even though the first book is pretty boring the rest are pretty good especially the ones after book 3)
