Something I wrote a while ago, thought it'd be fun to share. I'm not going to turn this into an actual story, this is all I have written and I'm not writing more lol The character's names are Wynna and Conan. Wynna has tourettes syndrome :3 A curtain of long, obsidian black hair draped over her shoulders, hiding her face. The thick black hair glistened in the moonlight, straight and nicely brushed. But I wanted to see past that. I wanted to see her face- a face I have yet to see. One that I can only dream about. If only she would let me tuck her beautiful hair behind her ear- brush the soft strands of hair out of her face. Let me see her big eyes, her round lips…. But I could only dream. For now. One day I would change it. I just had to gain her trust, one day at a time. “What are you doing out here?” I whispered tentatively, slowly and quietly. I didn't want to make her nervous. She ducked her head, letting her hair flow freely in front of her face. She stared at the cobblestone ground, refusing to meet my eyes. I smiled patiently, waiting for her answer. “Uh, just a midnight stroll.” She shrugged, flinching. I wondered why she flinched- I didn't touch her. I didn't say anything to scare her, did I? Then she squeaked, flinching again, and slowly backed up. Maybe she was just nervous. Anxiety, maybe? I knew she was shy, she always sat in the back during class, she never answered a question unless called on, and she was always the first person to run out of the classroom when the bell rang. Maybe I'd ask her. Not now, of course. But later. “How’s school?” I asked, wanting to start a conversation. It was pretty hard to be friends with her if she wouldn’t speak. “Uh fine. I um… have some homework. See you later.” She squeaked mid-sentence, taking a step back. I nodded, “Alright. Hey- do you want to study together?” She looked up at me, thinking. Then nodded. “Great! Meet me at the fountain in ten minutes.” I beamed down at her, the hurried off, into the school. Credits- Picture is mine, it's my kitten Writing is mine
