The Hogwarts Express It was a warm summer morning. Milli sat at the breakfast table at home, drinking her hot chocolate. She was very excited because soon they would be leaving for the train station and she would be starting her first year at Hogwarts. Just then, her father, George Weasley, came into the kitchen. "Well, excited yet?" "When I started my first year at Hogwarts, I was too," said George. Milli nodded. She kept thinking about how her uncle Fred Weasley had died at Hogwarts during the Second Wizarding War. Her mother, Angelina Weasley, had once been the Gryffindor Quidditch captain. Milli really hoped she would be sorted into Gryffindor. Then the day finally arrived. George, Angelina, and Milli got into their car and drove to the train station. It was very crowded. They went to the barrier between platforms 9 and 10 and ran through it with their luggage. Then they were standing on platform 9¾. It was a quarter to eleven. Milli said goodbye to her parents and boarded the train. She sat down in an empty compartment and placed her owl Snowy's cage next to her. After what felt like forever, the train started moving. Then there was a knock on the compartment door, and a boy poked his head inside. "Hello, I'm Marcus Potter. Can I sit with you?" he asked. Milli nodded. After an hour, there was another knock, and this time a girl poked her head in. "There you are, Milli! I've been looking everywhere for you," she said. It was Milli's cousin, Ella Granger-Weasley. She was Ron Weasley's daughter. She sat down next to Milli and Marcus. It was slowly getting dark. The three of them decided to put on their Hogwarts robes. Then the train arrived in Hogsmeade, and they got off. Together with the other first-year students, they crossed the lake to Hogwarts Castle.
