One night, he attempted to escape by building himself a pair of metal wings. He crashed into the rocky waters, losing his tail and legs in the process. The government seemed to pity him and allow him to return with no repercussions... in exchange for his young son's life. He built himself new legs, a better tail, and sturdier legs for his next escape attempt. At first, the citizens supported and cheered for him, but they've since lost hope in his abilities ever since his first failed escape attempt. He's currently living alone in his tower preparing to take flight again.
