It's been a year of inactivity lol With my schoolwork piling up & life getting gradually busier, Scratch became less and less of a priority for me- just a coding website I loved as a kid. Honestly though, whenever I found myself bored out of my brain, I found myself missing the hours I'd spend in the vector editor creating animation memes and all the silly little convos I'd have in studios like the Gaehive, and so inbrings me to early Dec 2025, staring down my My Stuff page and desperately wondering how to begin again. I already knew I wanted to make an animeme- ideas for them took up most of my brain from 2021 to 2023, andit'd be super fun & nostalgic- but my OC? Outdated (I've had burgundy hair for about 9 months now haha), annoyingly finicky to edit with the sheer amount of individual curls and freckles, and honestly? I don't even like the lore too much. It was a cool concept, and I still really like my old memes, but the whole thing was wayyyy too angsty for my taste. Being honest with you guys: I was not in a great place mentally in 2023-4, and I probably didn't always make the smartest choices either. I feel like I've matured and become a better/happier person in general since EJ 1.0 was created. As many memories I have with her, she just doesn't represent who I am anymore, and that's okay :) Which brings us to my redesign!!! In this project, EJ's got a whole new makeover, as well as an alternate outfit & hairstyles that I'll gradually add on to. To summarise updates to her design: - 26/12/2025: Changed colour & style of hair to match own (added signature bangs & length), greatly simplified hair & removed freckles for ease of animation, changed shorts to jeans & colour of jumper, redesigned shoes, added black turtleneck variant & 3 hairstyles, modified body type to be more accurate, minor colour alterations elsewhere sooooo what's next for me on scratch? I don't plan on resuming my past constant activity due to starting year 10 & a secondary qualification subject (Yr 11 English) soon, but I'll definitely be posting more!!! You can expect a few animemes coming in the next week or so :o thank you everyone who's clicked on my projects or left a comment in the past- you've meant more to me than anyone realises, & made my time on scratch so wonderful I am beyond words. peace <333
