He holds a longstanding loyalty to the High Arbiter, considering them the pinnacle of Sanctum ideals (though his lens is a bit rose-tinted). Manacles’ own interpretation of said ideals seems to differ from that of his liege, but it’s hard to say how much he realizes it. Despite his chivalrous and cheerful candor, Manacles is a fearsome fighter—over time, he has cultivated his core into a devastating suite of abilities which can command the battlefield. Not only this—Manacles’ imposing frame has been similarly cultivated, shaped by years of singleminded dedication to self improvement. His most firmly held belief is that people owe it to themselves to push their personal limits, and surpass them—and that everyone, no matter who, has slumbering power that deserves to be cultivated. Grafted Cores: -Spy: Allows Manacles to reveal a hidden truth, or otherwise see something hidden or cloaked. When used, Manacles’ intentions (and/or form, as necessary) themselves are actively cloaked instead. -Grotto: can be used as a means for setting up suitable encampment. Carves out a decently sized cave into any surface, regardless of material. Could potentially even open a passageway to the opposite side of said material. Personal Details: -his favorite foods are hot soup and dumplings. -he can make the former himself, but has trouble with the latter. -it is unclear how he eats, as no one has ever seen him remove the helmet. -the most surefire way to befriend him, apart from a firm handshake and an honorable sparring match, is a hot meal and a drink. -he detests the revenant, and at minimum finds those of its ranks unsettling. -he always makes up his bed or sleeping roll each morning. He does so with frightening speed. -while there are presumably no shopping carts in Pendia, he would absolutely put his back every time. Might even put back a couple more. -in pensive moments, when he believes himself alone, others have said it appears something troubles him.
