A character for One Last War, a PvP ARG/RPG designed by @RainRaven and @primordial667. Thanks to them for the story and world this takes place in!! (character sheet design inspiration drawn from a bunch of peeps in the OLW community -- thanks to y'all, as well!!) -- Gaiana (or "Gaiana Fenlace," as she is sometimes known) is an aged but vigorous fighter who cherishes discipline and nature above all else. Upon first acquaintance, she is prone to making an impression of coolness and seclusion -- but, despite this, she holds a deep respect and care for her compatriots and foes, alike. Once a battle-hungry young warrior bound for the armies of the Sanctum, over the course of many years, she became disillusioned with the lofty ideals of the High Arbiter and left their empire behind. As a result of her severance from their morals, she tends to place her trust most firmly in the values of freedom, life, and self-reliance -- and does not hold visions of idealistic futures without effort to back them in high esteem. Due to this extreme straightforwardness, however, she can tend towards thinking narrow-mindedly and unimaginatively at times. Her history outside of this brief recollection is still quite murky, and is not understood in much detail. However, she has presently approached the Crownbreakers wishing to aid in building a peaceful future for Pendia, and all of the life that resides within it. -- Spells are in the works!!! Here's a brief summary of Gaiana's tools and grafts for now... Inventory: - LOG HAT : A hat consisting of three disconnected pieces: a wide brim, a segment of a fallen log, and a small model sun. It has no strange properties, other than moving as if attached and its peculiar weightlessness - BOOT-SHAPED GLASS : A durable glass in the shape of a boot, with ribbons tied around it and, oddly enough, a roughly-hewn wooden lid screwed on top. Gaiana seems to drink water and all other beverages from it -- but how it hasn't broken in her pack or shattered during conflict is unclear - SOIL MACE : A strange weapon with a cylindrical head attached to a chained handle. Around the axis of this head rotates a layer of churning black soil, and Gaiana seems to be able to stimulate the growth of sharp, brittle branches from this soil to use offensively. The chain may be manually extended, but possesses no inherent magical properties Grafted Cores: - [CLASS] : Weakly shifts a target's skill in one area to another through interpretation and classification -- not altering the essence of the target, but moving a stat point from the restricted sphere into another. This effect has a maximum duration of one turn (after which the point will return to its original stat if it hasn't been used), and is ineffective when used upon skills with no concurrent points - [KICK] : Grants Gaiana the ability to manifest propulsive disembodied kicks, creating a short-lived burst of force to ward off enemies, damage obstacles, or hurl objects Bonus Trivia!!!: - The old log her hat is made of sometimes sprouts tiny, ghostly leaves that evaporate almost as soon as they appear - She often makes conversation with beetles she meets in the woods - She enjoys drinking muddy spring water and baking gritty bread made of foraged grain (she hasn't learned any other recipes as of yet) - She disputes the use of Ceruleum as an energy source, and has a long-term goal to help find a solution to the smog it creates, if one exists -- Music: "Trees..." from the Omori OST
