The eyes were so fun to draw! 「あぁ、やっと言えた。 これは絶対嘘じゃない愛してる。」 Quite possibly my favorite song throughout all of j-pop, and also from one of my favorite anime of all time. Ai Hoshino is one of the best characters I've ever read/watched. There is just something about her that draws you in. The manga/anime absolutely tore me apart after volume 1/episode 1, yet I stayed. Partially because the mangaka has such a beautiful art style, particularly in the eyes. But also because I knew her story wasn't quite over yet.
