On 27th December 2025, Supermarioglitchy4 (aka SMG4) premiered his final video, after a 14-and-a-half year run. That day was pretty big but depressing for sure, especially for avid fans of the channel who found the channel years ago and have stayed until the very end. While I haven't really watched SMG4 at all much, I can say that this day was still pretty busy for me. It felt surreal seeing a series that once started as machinima using Super Mario 64's engine to end today, where it has become a beloved show of stories and humor from a blue and white character and his gang of wild friends. While the fandom will continue his legacy, we hope to see what is next in store for the crew... ...and today I felt like, "Hey, what if I start counting the days since SMG4's final video?" and decided to do this. Yes, this is gonna be another one of those "Numberblocks Days of XXXX Band" things. I guess the "Ascent Towards Infinity" band has been replaced since it'll be hard juggling 3 bands at the same time. I am not too experienced with making bands though, since the highest number I reached on an original band is around 50-60. Technically this is supposed to represent the 27th, but it's one to two days late since I had to recover from this event. Speaking of which, I'm not gonna do one band every day, but release them in groups of 7 on average since I can spend some time working on other things. Anyways, Zero is depressed that SMG4 has ended, and so are the other Numberblocks for the first couple several days. (yes i know some people would disagree if they weren't a fan of the channel)
