TRIGGER WARNING: This is prologue material, and is the worst you'll see in this series. Still, it involves minor mentions of b100d and some sad notes. It also involves the mentioning of unaliv3d (aka: d3@d) kitties. You have been warned. (The transcript is below this stuff) It's mostly space or tap for the next page. (Mobile friendly!) Use the left and right arrow keys to move back and forth between pages. Yes, this is written. Sorry to all you comic lovers out there, who probably didn't actually READ warrior cats. hehe, I'm a reader, yes. ;) I'm doing this slowly, but so far it's pretty cool. Also, yay! One of the clans speaks mostly Japanese. (However, I'm not using any human cultures, so as not to accidentally do them any wrong. These cats all have their own cultures and religions, separate from human ones.) TRANSCRIPT: (transcripción, トランスクリプト, transcription, 成绩单, 성적 증명서) Winterclan, one of the six clans in the area. They are mostly known for their cheery mood and hospitable attitudes toward outsiders seeking shelter. Sadly though, the last of fall brought upon them the sad event of a loose dog and its family. The dogs were taken out with the help of the other clans… but returning home, the young deputy Shiningice was not prepared to count such a large amount of losses, nor take upon himself the responsibilities of a leader. After a flurry of claws and teeth, the dog finally lay permanently asleep on the ground. Shiningice stood above it, breathing heavily, fluffy spotted fur heavy with the stinking scent of the enemy. Of the three remaining cats among him, none howled in victory. They snarled and kicked at the dogs, angry, hurting, tired, all of them. Shiningice turned slowly, scanning the area. For a large party of seventeen, all ready to fight, many were now never to share tongues of their fight, never to return home the way they left. There was no enjoyment of their victory, no bragging for home, no pride in their fight. The sorrow and the grieving drowned out any egos they once had, leaving them cold and empty for the current moment. Heads bowed, two of the cats returned home. Shiningice stayed with Stillwater, the HaganeClan medicine cat. The two gazed at the stars for a while, then Stillwater spoke. “Normally I stay from such religious observations controversial to my own, but I cannot help but notice: You have gained more stars in your ‘Silverpelt’” “Yes, Stillwater, we have.” Shiningice agreed solemnly, turning to nod to him. “I am grateful for your sympathy at this time.” “I am glad to have comforted you, Kira-chan,” Stillwater said, closing his eyes. His tail twitched as the wind played with it. “Do your ‘spirits’ send you any news?” Shiningice asked innocently, oblivious to any ideas of the religion beyond that. “No, nothing I can decode so far. It is too much of my native language, I could not translate if I tried.” But still, the old healer’s eyes spoke sadness and wisdom as Shiningice bade farewell and left. “That mountain is very tall, very hard to climb – yet you still must never give up, Kira-chan.” He murmured at the retreating figure. Dang it, there's a tangent on Shiningice's belly. >:(
