It’s supposed to be Auggest (his daughter) yelling at him to make up his mind and help her or make it clear he’s out of the picture. (Auggest fights with her mom a lot but Lore only does things for her after they fight instead of picking a side- so Auggie’s kind of done with him.) The only problem is he wants to stay and help, but he doesn’t want the mom to hate him or to get too attached to Auggest because he’s just scared something bad will happen. (This is mainly because of his own childhood trauma.) So he’s just begging her to make up her mind and just hate him so things can get easier and there’s not an awkward gap between them. So yeah, gotta love dysfunctional families <3
