For those who aren’t aware: COTA stands for Collab Offer to Adopt. Which means that a group of people each create a design for one OTA. I used to love joining and hosting these on my old account so I thought I would do one here too —- I have a sorta weird category/theme. Idioms. Each person will pick one idiom and create a design based off of it. For example: Creating a character based off of cake for the idiom, “it’s a piece of cake” Other examples: Spill the beans Let the cat out of the bag A blessing in disguise Beat around the bush Raining cats and dogs —- I feel like this gives a lot of room for creativity and unique ideas, but can also be a bit hard to get starts so here are some more ideas. For once in a blue moon— base the character off a blue moon For deer in headlight— have a mainly deer based design with glowy elements Under the weather— have a humanoid design have an umbrella/parasols of a rainy cloud —- Rules; Anyone can join Any type of design is welcome (Human/humanoid, feline, etc) Be kind and respectful Only one person per idiom You don’t have to use the ones I’ve listed; feel free to find others. Must be your own art. No ai. Bases are allowed if you made them —- Sign-ups.
